Beginning in April of 2011, the RIKEN Quantitative Biology Center (QBiC) was formed, bring together researchers from diverse fields including biology, engineering and physics for the study of dynamical biological systems. To commemorate its recent establishment, QBiC will be hosting its first international symposium on Nov. 5-7, 2011 at the Kobe International Conference Center. Beginning with keynote speakers Profs. Michael P. Sheetz and Adrian H. Elcock, the symposium will host 25 speakers renown for a wide range of science including bio-imaging, intracellular experimental techniques, and mathematical modeling of biological systems. We hope you too will attend this three-day event, which aims to push a new frontier in the study of living systems. Participants are required to first register. Please see the symposium website for details.●More detail >>
